The 25-year-old was attacked at the supermarket in Rutherglen shortly after 1.30pm on Saturday. Witnesses said the store was evacuated while police and ambulance crews attended to the woman. She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment, with hospital staff describing her condition as stable. A 34-year-old man was arrested for the incident, who was subsequently charged. He will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
