The woman, who was driving a blue Honda Jazz, died at the scene. A man and two boys traveling in a brown Skoda Octavia were treated for what are believed to be minor injuries. West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the incident and sent three ambulances, two paramedics, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham. A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Crews arrived to find two cars involved in a collision and four patients in total. “The driver of the first car was seriously injured in the incident and received advanced life support at the scene. Despite the best efforts of the ambulance staff, it unfortunately became clear that nothing more could be done to save her and she was confirmed dead. “A man and two boys who were the driver and passengers of the second car were treated for what are believed to be minor injuries before being taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital by land ambulance.” Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward. A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: “Did you see a collision in Much Wenlock yesterday afternoon? “A woman has died following the incident, which happened at around 2pm on the A458 Bridgnorth. “A blue Honda Jazz was traveling in Much Wenlock when it collided head-on with a brown Skoda Octavia. “The driver of the Honda, a 75-year-old woman from Salisbury, has sadly died from her injuries. “The driver of the Skoda and two passengers suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. “Anyone who saw the incident or recorded it on dash cam is asked to get in touch. A spokesman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 2.21pm. on Sunday 10th July, SFRS Fire Control received a call to reports of a road traffic collision in Much Wenlock. Four injured are being treated by paramedics. Firefighters used small equipment and first aid kits. Two fire engines were dispatched from Telford and Wellington.’
