Nicki Minaj left her fans fuming after she started her Wireless Festival concert 30 minutes late and didn’t apologize. The Super Bass singer only performed 40 minutes of her 80-minute set and the show was plagued by technical difficulties and frequent breaks. The microphone and monitor were out of sync, causing a patchy delay throughout the performance. The star, looking annoyed and low-energy at points, also asked the already patient crowd at one stage: “Can you give me 30 seconds?” She then took another few minutes to change her wardrobe, leading the crowd to chant for her return as the minutes ticked quickly towards the 9.30pm curfew. “I spent so much to come to London and see Nicki it was a disappointment,” one Manchester fan told Metro.co.uk. “I saw Cardi and she was great and on time. Nikki was late, she barely went and didn’t explain why she was late.’ Fans were not impressed! (Image: Getty) Another said: “You won’t come so late and then change your wardrobe. It’s a festival. He’s taking the f***!’ One fan tweeted: “Nicki really needs to stop being late. It’s unprofessional af. Many people are already paying expensive tickets. It is unfair.’ Another wrote: ‘Nicki needs to stop this fact that she’s late. She wants to respect her time right? He has to pay it back.” Nicki needs to stop this thing from lingering.
