According to the West Gray Police Service (WGPS) and Gray Bruce OPP, officers responded to a report of shots fired at a home on Gray Road 4 around 3 a.m. Earlier in the evening, officers discovered a 62-year-old man in the Walter Falls area who had died. Police say the dead man is believed to be connected to the West Gray shooting incident. Officers are looking for 34-year-old Kodie Hearsum of West Gray and say he is considered armed and dangerous and a risk to public safety. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 200 pounds with a medium build, brown hair, blue eyes and tattoos on his neck, shoulders and chest. He is believed to have been wearing knee-length denim shorts and a light-coloured jacket Anyone who may know where Hearsum is or who may be in contact with him is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
