Island Time, a brand new live music series, comes to the Island Stage at Waterfront Park on Saturday. Gates will open for ticket holders at noon and music starts at 1pm To accommodate the event and make arrangements, Waterfront Park and a section of the waterfront from the boat locks to the Concession Plaza will be closed to the public from 9pm on Friday 15 July. The city says both the park and boardwalk will be closed until 8 a.m. Sunday, July 17 to allow for demolition and cleanup.
