Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic haven’t always been the best of friends, but the Australian described their relationship now as an abomination in his Wimbledon pre-final press.
They crossed paths ahead of tomorrow’s clash as they both practiced on Saturday at Aorangi Park and Djokovic said “It took you five years to say something nice about me haha”.
To which Kyrgios responded by referring to the Australian Open debacle in which he sided with his former worst enemy. “But I stood up for you when it mattered” his eventual opponent agreed in the video according to Sport Klub. “You did, I appreciate that,” Djokovic said.
