Harry Simin kept his camera rolling as the wall of snow first came down a distant mountainside, only to continue heading towards its location. “We had just reached the highest point of the course and I broke away from the group to take pictures at the top of a hill/cliff,” Shimmin told ViralHog. “While I was taking pictures I heard the sound of deep ice cracking behind me.” That’s when he turned and started spinning, only to see the snow keep coming. Shimmin said there was a shelter nearby, but once he was at the edge of the cliff, there were no escape options.
