Toronto police have identified the victim in a Saturday afternoon shooting near Union Station that left one dead and briefly halted all trains and buses at the busy transit hub. Police say 24-year-old Stephon Little-McClacken of Toronto was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. shortly after the end of a Blue Jays baseball game. Alex Li says investigators are looking for a suspect described as a black male, six feet tall with a medium build, who was last seen wearing a light colored top and dark colored pants. Hours after the Union Station shooting, police say two people were seriously injured in a separate shooting at a Toronto nightclub. Police say the downtown incident happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday and left a man and a woman with life-threatening injuries. A third shooting in the city Sunday night on Danforth Rd. and Main St. they left a man in his 40s with non-life threatening injuries. No arrests have been made in either shooting, but police said they believe the incident at Union Station was targeted. Lee said every shooting is serious and tragic, but acknowledged that such incidents are especially troubling to residents when they take place in such public places.
