The 29-year-old man, whose name police have not released, died Tuesday night from his injuries, police said Wednesday morning.
The man was identified as Jonathan Graham during a brief court appearance Tuesday for Bradley Joudrey, 32, of London, who is charged with attempted murder.
No upgraded charges have yet been filed against Joudrey, who was scheduled to appear in court Friday. Graham’s death would have been London’s third homicide of the year.
Two men got into a fight at a home on Noel Avenue, east of Trafalgar Road and Veterans Memorial Parkway, Monday night before leaving separately, police said.
Emergency crews were later called around 2:20 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a man on fire near Admiral Drive and Trafalgar Street, police said. The man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Graham was transferred to another hospital on Tuesday night, a spokesman for the London Health Sciences Center said, but the name of the hospital or the reason for the transfer were not disclosed. Joudrey was arrested less than an hour after the man was found on fire. London police located a vehicle in the 1800-block of Royal Crescent — a few blocks from the scene — as part of an investigation and arrested a man for impaired driving. Officers soon connected the man stopped on Royal Crescent to the man found on fire, police said. Online condolences for Graham began pouring in on social media Tuesday night. “You will be greatly missed by many people,” one Facebook user wrote. “You were a wonderful brother, son, father, friend and family member.” Another user wrote: “Right now I’m at a loss for words. . . . I will always remember the beautiful moments we spent.” It is the second time someone has been set on fire in London in the last year. A London man, 34, has been charged with attempted murder after his 67-year-old father was seriously injured after setting himself on fire in the Glen Cairn neighborhood on July 25, 2021. The case remains in court. [email protected]
