IPhone’s music streaming service is now available on any Roku device, including Roku streaming players, Roku TV models, and high quality Roku audio products such as the Roku Streambar Pro. Apple Music offers access to more than 90 million songs and 30,000 playlists edited by experts without ads in the Apple Music application. The Apple Music app also lets users watch 4K music videos on compatible devices and sing their favorite songs with timed lyrics. Roku users can subscribe to Apple Music through the Roku Channel Store for a free 1 month trial, after which point programs from $ 9.99 per month are available. This is the latest proof of Roku’s growing platform business. Last week, the company announced that the platform unit grew 39% year-on-year to $ 365 million in the first quarter of 2022. Users consumed 20.8 billion hours of streaming content in the quarter.
