An 81-year-old woman who was arrested for the death of the 20-year-old was released on police bail. A two-week search for Somaiya ended in tragedy on Wednesday after a body was discovered on Fitzwilliam Street. The 20-year-old was last seen at her Binnie Street home on Saturday, June 25, at 2pm and was reported missing 24 hours later. Despite appeals, there have been no confirmed sightings or contact from her. Officers can now officially confirm that the body found on July 6 was Mrs Begum. Police cordons have been set up across the area. Officers cordoned off an industrial estate in Thornbury Road, Laisterdyke, two weeks ago, while police vans remained in Binnie Street, Barkerend.
