A member of the United States Secret Service was reportedly involved in a “physical altercation” while working in Israel and was sent back to the United States ahead of President Biden’s trip to Israel. A Secret Service spokesman told Fox News that the agency learned Monday that an employee in Israel was allegedly involved in a “physical encounter” and was briefly detained by Israeli police and returned to the United States. The Secret Service agent’s access to the agency’s systems and facilities has been suspended pending further investigation, according to the spokesman. “Late Monday, the United States Secret Service was notified that an agency employee working in Israel was allegedly involved in a physical encounter. The employee was briefly detained and questioned by Israeli police, who released him without charge. The employee returned to the United States Per agency protocol, his access to Secret Service systems and facilities has been suspended pending further investigation,” the spokesperson told Fox News.
