A huge snake with two dogs inside its stomach was caught in northeastern Thailand. The 22m long python was found in the wilderness with a huge bulge in its belly – and locals believe it was living on strays and pets. The giant snake was spotted slithering over abandoned building materials on a vacant lot in Sisaket province on July 9. The video shows animal handlers removing it from an elaborate nest it had built under a pile of old concrete posts. One, Piyachat Charoensopha, explained: “It was one of the biggest snakes we’ve seen so far. “The python may have lived in that wilderness for a while and lived on stray animals.” Piyachat added that a villager was searching for their two missing pet dogs, which are likely to be the creatures inside the snake’s stomach. Many species of pythons live in Thailand, including the reticulated python, which is considered the longest snake in the world. In 2021, a farmer in Chon Buri province encountered another huge 20-foot-long python that required eight rescuers to pull from the fields.
