It happened just before 10pm in the 2900 block of West Clearfield Street. The view from Chopper 6 showed debris strewn across the road after the two-car crash. A passenger in the striking vehicle was seriously injured. Police said the driver of the car fled after the collision. A second person in the other vehicle was also injured in the collision. These injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. The cause of the crash was not immediately known. Anyone with information is asked to call the Philadelphia Police Department.
