The Penticton Indian Band sent out a public notice for people to cease and desist using the KVR trail on their land as it has been washed out in several locations. According to the release, the old Kettle Valley Railway (KVR) trail as shown on the map below is a “private” trail, under the ownership of PIB. “You are trespassing if you walk on this trail without permission from the Band. We are particularly concerned about people entering the trail as it is washed out in many locations and unsafe for any use,” the statement said.
