Police were called to a property in Masefield Road, West Melton, South Yorkshire at around 10.15pm on Friday. Yorkshire Ambulance Service attended and found a woman, 43, with a fatal bite wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The 42-year-old man who called 999 has suffered a life-changing injury to one arm, as well as injuries to his other arm, stomach and face.
