Police officers in New York shot a man who they say threatened to kill New York Gov. Kathy Hotchul and “blow up” people Saturday night. NYPD officers arrived at the scene in the Cambria Heights neighborhood of Queens after a threat was made by a man identified as Raul Hardy around 6pm on Saturday, the New York Post reported. The 60-year-old man reportedly said he was going to “change the government” by killing both Gov. Hochul and New York Commissioner Keechant Sewell. Hardy also reportedly said he was going to “blow up” the world. Harvey was reportedly shot and wounded when he opened fire on officers who arrived at the scene. (Photo by Craig Ruttle-Pool/Getty Images) “All my life I’ve known him to live there,” Harvey’s cousin Brian Ware told the New York Post. “I never knew he had guns.” Ware added that Harvey does landscaping work and has been involved in several domestic incident arrests in the past. A spokesperson for the New York Police Department confirmed to Fox News Digital that officers returned fire after being shot, but said the details of what led to the interaction remain under investigation.
