Police say the “domestic related” incident happened around 3:30 p.m. at an address on Regatta Crescent, which is near Brock and Victoria Streets.
The victim was rushed to the trauma center in life-threatening condition, but succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
Police say a suspect in the case remains at large.
“Efforts are underway to locate this individual,” police said in a message posted on Twitter late Wednesday afternoon.
