Anthony Nelson, 47, was arrested by US Marshals on Wednesday at Harrah’s Casino, according to abc6. He now faces murder charges stemming from the June 28 fatal shooting of Jailene Holton. “Our community is deeply weakened by the utterly horrific and senseless loss of Jailene, who held so much promise for a huge future. We hope the swift capture of this heinous perpetrator will bring some comfort to the Holton family,” officials said. Robert Clark, the supervisor of the US Marshals Task Force, said the agency developed a lead that helped agents locate Nelson in New Jersey. “Once he realized we were there and we weren’t leaving, we were able to get him into custody without anyone getting hurt,” Clark said. “We believe he knew he was wanted.” Jailene Hotlon, 21, was fatally shot in the head while hanging out with friends.
