The couple, who first started dating in October 2020, are already parents to LaRose, who turns one this month. The child’s cause of death has not been released but the star said he was “well and healthy”. Last night Lauren shared the song A Mother’s Prayer with lyrics that appeared on screen. It read: “Lead her to a place, guide her with your grace, to a place where she will be safe.” The heartbreaking lyrics are from the Celine Dion song and appeared above a broken heart emoji. Lauren posted the tragic news on Instagram on Sunday night, writing: “👼Lorena👼 RIP 08.07.22. “She was the most beautiful healthy baby I have ever seen just like @babylarose.x’s sister. “Words cannot describe as a mother who lost your baby that I carried all these months perfectly and gave birth too to have my little angel taken from me 👼. “There was no pregnancy or labor complications and she was fine and healthy, but I’m not going into details at the moment, I just know there was nothing wrong with her or myself, she was perfect. “I can’t get over how beautiful the Larose twin is so similar.. I’m heartbroken 💔.” She added: “I’m home from the hospital Me and Charlie spent so much time with our little girl Lorena and I haven’t said goodbye yet 💔💔💔.”

Many unexplained deaths

Charities dealing with infant deaths have expressed their sympathies to Lauren and Charles. A spokeswoman for the Lullaby Trust said: “Around 400 babies die suddenly and unexpectedly in the UK every year and for around half of these deaths there is no cause. “Some sudden and unexpected deaths can be explained by post-mortem examination.” A spokesman for bereavement charity Sands said: “Unfortunately a large number of neonatal deaths are unexplained. It’s devastating for Lauren and Charles, and everyone deals with the loss differently. “You should never be afraid to ask for support.” The free helpline numbers are: The Lullaby Trust 0808 802 6868 and Sands 0808 164 3332.
