It’s supposed to stay open until 11pm on Saturday. Video from the park showed chaotic scenes outside the gates as people were asked to evacuate. Witnesses who spoke to the media said there were rumors of a shooting in the park, causing some to flee. Others reported seeing security guards trying to break up large fights between teenage visitors. Knott’s Berry Farm will be open as usual on Sunday. Katie Dowd is the administrator of SFGATE.
