Whether you’re trying to take a quick video of a billboard with a phone number you might need, or you notice an important message in the background of an existing video, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use Live Text over video.
1. Shoot the video.
Open the Camera app and go to video mode. Take a video with some text.
2. Open the video and play or wipe it to a point where the text is clearly visible.

3. Tap and hold the text you want until a blue highlight appears.
This function can even detect blurry text like this. Credit: Apple Similar to how text selection works in apps like Messages or Notes, you’ll be able to adjust the amount of selected text by moving the blue lines on either side of the highlighted section.
4. Now choose what to do with the selected text.
