A semi pulling a large piece of equipment hit the west side of the 192nd Street overpass in Surrey around 8 a.m. during the morning commute. The piece of equipment fell onto the highway and it is unclear at this time if it hit other vehicles. Traffic is backed up heavily westbound towards Langley and only one lane is passing westbound at this time. Drivers are asked to avoid the area. We are next to the 192nd Street overpass over Hwy 1 in #SurreyBC, cleanup continues after what is believed to be an excavator on the back of a trailer, pulled by a dump truck with a bucket that wasn’t completely down when the overpass was hit .
