As the newlyweds boarded a helicopter for a special honeymoon flight over Hamilton Island on June 19, Ms Morgan snapped a photo to capture the special moment.
The photo shows Mrs Morgan in the back seat of the plane as her husband smiles from the front. Mr. Morgan could not at the time locate why his wife looked so radiant. Now, he says it makes sense.
“He was beaming before he left [this life]. She’s never looked so beautiful,” she told Daily Mail Australia.
“It was because God was calling her home.

“He is an angel.
“There are no two ways about it.”
The next day, Mrs Morgan, 29, was tragically killed when the couple’s buggy overturned as they tried to do a U-turn.
Mr Morgan said there is a second photo he also holds close to his heart.
Taken on the couple’s wedding day – just 10 days before his death – the picture shows Morgan hoisting his smiling bride into the air on the dance floor at Doltone House, in Sydney’s Hyde Park, as they celebrated their love with family and their friends.
Her heartbroken husband said the photo showed how his stunning wife was “literally an angel” and was his favorite photo “by far”.
Two days after it was taken, the couple headed north to Queensland where they stayed at a luxury resort, sipping cocktails, eating gourmet platters and lounging by the pool and beach.

While honeymoons are by nature memorable, for Mr Morgan, the journey will forever be bittersweet.
“We spent it enjoying each other’s company, appreciating each other. We just spend quality time with each other,” she said.
“It was heaven on earth.”
As Mrs Morgan’s heartbroken loved ones come to terms with the death of the “caring, loyal, kind-hearted” woman, they have thrown their energies into keeping her legacy alive by setting up a foundation in her name.
Mr Morgan said the Marina Morgan Foundation would “spread love, joy and kindness to the world – just like his wife did.
“The foundation will hold two major events every year, every year going forward,” he said.

“The first will be a charity ball, the second will be a family fun day as Marina has always held family in her heart.”
The family fun days will include rides, slides and food trucks, and the featured charity will change for each event.
Mr Morgan said there would be just one event this year – the inaugural black-tie ball in November – with funds raised going to the Ronald McDonald House.
The children’s nonprofit was chosen because it was the last place Ms. Morgan did charity work before she died.
Mr Morgan said the foundation’s “main message” is “to spread love and hope to people who need it”.

“Marina was always there for everyone without judgment or complaint. The outpouring of love he shared with all of us was unconditional, it was hard to believe that such a tiny person had so much to give,” he said.
“We were blessed to share our lives with her and her death has left a huge hole in our hearts and the only way to fill it is to come together as one and help people in need in her name and in her honor.” .
On Saturday, hundreds of mourners gathered at St Mary’s & St Merkorious Coptic Orthodox in Rhodes, in Sydney’s north-west, to say goodbye to Ms Morgan.
The date was exactly three weeks since family and friends had packed the same church to watch her marry the love of her life.
After traditional prayers were read, her brother Mark Hanna told the crowd how he would miss his “kind hearted sister” forever.
“There are no words that come close to the pain we feel in our hearts today,” she said, fighting back tears, “It seems the heavens are crying too.

“Marina was a sweet, young, independent woman who was loved by all who knew her.
“She was beautiful inside and out, loved to laugh and always had a positive outlook on life.
In a commissioned poem, her cousin Miriam vowed to live her life “fearlessly” as Mrs. Morgan “dared.”
She said she spent the night “goofing around” with Mrs Morgan before her wedding and the bride told her how “fulfilled” her life was.
“A daughter, a friend, a family member and a wife. “Marina has truly achieved her biggest life goal,” he said.
“Marrying Robbie’s soulmate and becoming a bride while making her family proud.
“The night before her wedding, we snuggled up together and she told me how content she was and how life couldn’t get any better.”
