Freedom Convoy organizer Tamara Lich is expected to learn today whether she will remain in prison after the Crown accused her of breaching one of her bail conditions. Lich was charged in February with disorderly conduct, obstructing police, counseling others to commit mischief and intimidation for her role in the mass protest that blocked downtown Ottawa for weeks. He was released the following month on a long list of conditions, including not having contact with key organizers of the march except through or in the presence of a lawyer. Lich was arrested last week after appearing in a recent photo with fellow protest leader Tom Marazzo, and the Crown argued at a bail hearing on Tuesday that she should remain in custody. But her lawyer, Lawrence Greenspon, argued that Lich and Marazzo had only a brief interaction and her lawyers were simply off-camera and approved the photo. Justice of the Peace Paul Harris reserved his decision until this afternoon.
