After last year’s release of the world’s first electric mockup bike rack (N-Power), Fovno is now releasing a brand new inverted design, the ES-H1B. The rack will be on display at this year’s Eurobike on July 13 (A23, Hall 9.1). This new design will retail for $295 USD. The inverted grill uses three suction cups. the front two attach to either side of your bike’s handlebars, while the rear rests on the saddle. This three-leg structure, combined with the N-Power electric control box and alarm system, is extremely stable and safe. Unlike traditional roof mounts that require the front wheel to be removed, the ES-H1B’s inverted design is simple and convenient. You don’t need to remove anything before mounting your bike. The core of the ES-H1B inverted rack is the N-Power control box, which weighs 650 grams. The control box has a power button that when pressed, places the suction cups on your roof via electronically actuated pneumatic suction. The control box uses a 3400mAh lithium battery and a Type-C charging port, enabling incredibly fast charging. The system is IP65 waterproof certified and will automatically reseal the suction cups if pressure is lost. Weighing just 3.7KG, the new inverted rack weighs only a third of last year’s N-Power model (right). It’s a small and portable machine that’s perfect for travel!
Before installing the inverted grill, wipe the roof of your car first. Then simply place the suction cups on the roof and press the control box’s power button to make sure the pneumatic system is working properly. Place the alarm inside your car and connect it to the USB port on the center console. Then deliberately break the seal of one of the suction cups. if the system is working properly and ready for use, the alarm will sound and the control box will automatically reseal the leak. Once your bike is flipped onto the roof (remember to avoid placing the suction cups on the sunroof window joints or other irregular areas), connect the hoses to the control box and press the power button. In an instant, the three suction cups will be securely attached to the roof of the car. Fovno will also soon release an expansion pack for this model that can fit multiple bikes. If you will be attending Eurobike this year, please stop by and check out the new ES-H1B!
