A Florida man was shot in the head by authorities but survived, officials said, after he allegedly took his social worker hostage and sexually assaulted her for 15 hours. Tzvi Allswang, 20, suffered serious head injuries but is expected to survive. He was then booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Wednesday, police said, after receiving medical treatment. (Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office) According to a probable cause affidavit obtained by Fox News, the victim told police she arrived at Allwang’s residence around 6:30 p.m. on Friday for a counseling session that Allswang had rescheduled several times that week. Allswang shares the home with his parents and brother, but the victim realized no one else was home. FLORIDA MAN ALLEGEDLY KILLED ANOTHER MAN IN RELATIONSHIP WITH SAME WOMAN: POLICE At the end of the session, Allswang allegedly grabbed her by the chest in a “bear hug” and told her she had to stay. She wrapped both of their cell phones in aluminum foil to prevent them from pinging her and revealing her location. Over the next 15 hours, he allegedly proceeded to sexually assault, rape and beat her. “During the night his demeanor would change from calm, angry and sexually aroused,” the charging documents state. “Tzvi at times choked her from behind by putting his arm around her neck and placing her in a child’s hold or grabbing her with his right hand around her neck from the front.” The crime scene with Tzvi Allswang. (Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office) During the women’s captivity, the victim’s mother reached out to the police after her daughter did not arrive at the family dinner. Police arrived at Allswang’s residence just before 6:30 p.m. to conduct a well-being check. Deputies forced their way into the residence and found Allswang holding the victim “hostage at a knife point to his throat inside the master bedroom closet.” Sgt. William Nogueras shot Allswang in the left side of his forehead after the assailant refused to drop the knife. The victim was rushed to hospital after the ordeal. She had been beaten and raped multiple times “with violence,” according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. He also allegedly taped her and tortured her. Allswang remains hospitalized in stable condition and is expected to survive his injuries.
