Florence Pugh took to social media with a vengeance after being criticized for wearing a sheer, hot pink Valentino gown to the fashion house’s couture show in Rome, Italy on Friday. The 26-year-old “Don’t Worry Darling” star wrote a lengthy caption on Instagram not only to defend her body, but also to ask for “respect” from all the people attending the event to celebrate the Fall 2022 collection -23 to the city’s famous Piazza di Spagna. “Listen, I knew when I wore this incredible Valentino dress that there was no way it wasn’t going to be commented on,” she wrote to her seven million followers. “Whether it was negative or positive, we all knew what we were doing. I was excited to wear it, not a wink of nervousness. I wasn’t before, during or even now after.” Pugh’s neon pink gown featured layers of tulle draped across her plunging neckline and nothing underneath. A full skirt of matching fabric cinched in at the waist and rose to the ground. The most worrying thing is… Why are you so afraid of breasts? Small? Big? Left? Right? Just one? Maybe none? What. It’s. So.
