Changes are coming to eligibility for COVID boosters. The province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald, has scheduled a press conference for 12 noon Wednesday to discuss the changes and answer questions from the media. Fitzgerald is also expected to address concerns about the spread of the latest sub-variant of COVID-19. VOCM News will be there broadcasting the press conference at 12:30 p.m., immediately following the Noon News. In the meantime, Western Health has announced some changes to the booking process and locations for receiving COVID booster shots. Online booking is now available for vaccine appointments in Corner Brook, Stephenville and Port aux Basques.
