Enes Kanter Freedom blasted LeBron James for his comments to Brittney Griner in a trailer for the latest episode of his HBO show “The Shop.” James was heard in the trailer questioning whether the US has the incarcerated WNBA superstar’s back and raised the possibility that if she were in her situation she would question whether she even wants to return to the United States. (Elsa/Getty Images) Kanter Freedom has been an outspoken voice on global issues, especially targeting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who issued an arrest warrant for the NBA free agent’s ties to Turkish scholar Fethullah Gulen. Kanter Freedom has also been outspoken about China’s treatment of Uyghur Muslims and has been particularly critical of James and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver for not doing enough to lift the curtain on the issue.
