Four people were on board when it capsized. One of them managed to get ashore safely, one drowned and two others are missing. On Tuesday, the RCMP confirmed that a body was recovered at approximately 3:00 p.m. the previous day. Canmore RCMP, Kananaskis Emergency Services, Alberta conservation officers and a cadaver dog continue to search for the missing boater, who RCMP say is male. “The Alberta RCMP sends its deepest condolences to all those affected by this tragedy,” it said in a statement. The boat capsized around 2pm on Sunday and crews have since recovered the boat. Investigators have not said whether the boaters were wearing life jackets, nor have they released their names. Spray Lakes Reservoir, located in Spray Valley Provincial Park, is located approximately 115 kilometers west of Calgary.
