At around 9.30pm last night, officers were called to the intersection to a report of a vehicle in a pond. When officers found the woman at the scene, the woman appeared intoxicated and tried to run away. Officers caught up with her and she was arrested for impaired driving. VicPD says there were no injuries in the incident. The woman was taken to VicPD cells for an impaired driving investigation and detained until she sobers up. She has since been released pending a court date. Officers recommend impaired driving charges.
