Environment Canada says the storm is near Cynthia and moving east at 25 kilometers per hour.

The storm is capable of producing strong winds, nickel- to ping-pong ball-sized hail, and heavy rain.
7:50 p.m.: Environment and Canada forecasters are currently monitoring a strong, possibly tornado-producing storm 20 kilometers east of Cynthia.
Officials say Doppler radar shows a possible tornado moving east at 15 mph. Communities on the trail include Cynthia, Alberta;
This is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening condition. Take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches. If you hear a roar or see a funnel cloud, debris swirling near the ground, flying debris, or any threatening weather approaching, evacuate immediately.
Cynthia is located approximately 170 kilometers west of Edmonton.
