Emergency services rushed in and after a search in the water they recovered the body of a man. Official identification is yet to be completed but it is believed to be that of the teenager from the Wakefield area.

Entrance to the Southern Washlands. His family has been informed and is receiving support. Investigations into the incident are ongoing. There is currently no information on the boy or his address, however Water Search & Rescue has recovered his body.
