A Suspicious Death Investigation Is Underway After A Man Was Found Dead In A Laneway In The City S East End

The man was found suffering from serious injuries in a hallway near Gerrard Street and Woodbine Avenue just after 8 p.m., police said.
They were later pronounced dead at the scene.
A cause of death has not been released, but police say the circumstances “appear suspicious.”
Medical examiners are currently combing the scene for evidence.
